Splash some fruit on your face for summer!

Summer will be hot, hot, hot! And that means your skin can become more irritated from the sweat and dirt clogging your pores. So if you are trying to stay inside and don’t have time to go out and buy some masks, why not make some at home! Your fridge is your supply!

To Reduce Redness, use the Cranber Mask. It’s a mixture of cucumber and cranberries mixed together, but read the detailed instructions first.

  1. Shed or grate a medium cucumber and don’t forget to cut of the ends first.
  2. Take a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of new cranberries, 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt and the shredded cucumber.
  3. Mash those 3 ingredients together.
  4. Stop mixing until you create a paste like texture.
  5. Place this on any red areas on the face, chest or neck.
  6. Wait 10 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water and then lather with lotion.

Note: Not only does this mask reduces redness but it reduces swollen zits, over washing with an exfoliator, or having plain stress!)

To Stop or Prevent Breakouts, use Honkin Mask. It’s a mixture of honey and pumpkin mixed together, but read the detailed instructions first.

  1. 1 teaspoon for honey, canned pumpkin puree, cider vinegar and flour.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together including 1 egg.
  3. Place it all over the face once the mixture is smooth and leave it on your face for 20 minutes.
  4. Do not place it near the eye area.
  5. Rinse off with warm to cold water and lightly pat dry.

Note: This mask also unclogs pores, exfoliates dead skin and moistens the skin.

To Brighten Skin, use Banaya! It’s a mixture of a banana and papaya mixed together, but read the detailed instructions first.

  1. Take 2 tablespoons of banana, 3 tablespoons of papaya, 1 tablespoonof coconut water and plain yogurt.
  2. Mix until it’s thick
  3. Place it all over the face and wait for 5 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

NOTE: Read through all of the ingredients to see if you may be allergic to any of them, if so, do not proceed to use.
